We are located in the heart of the scenic and game-rich Zone 9 of Allamakee County, Iowa. Considered by many to be the most beautiful part of of the state, the area is best known throughout the nation for its high concentration of trophy whitetails. Most of our land runs along the mighty Mississippi River with the topography varying from steep cedar choked limestone bluffs and hardwood ridges to brushy creek bottoms and rolling secluded fields. Hundreds of apple trees have been planted and a wide array of food plots including turnips, brassicas, peas, kale, alfalfa, clover, rye, barley, corn, soybeans, and sorghum. In addition, numerous sanctuaries have been established in and around our farms to protect and hold mature bucks. We have plenty of water sources and a large variety of stands and blinds. The properties were laid out under the guidance of professional deer habitat specialists with the implementation of careful logging and hinge cutting of trees to better improve habitat, installation of water sources, preparation and seeding of food plots, the planting of tens of thousands of trees and shrubs, with our goal in creating a trophy whitetail Mecca.
While we are relatively new to the outfitting business, the proof of our property’s holding power for these deer is evidenced by the numerous trail camera pictures and recent harvests
If your dream is to shoot a Boone & Crocket class buck, you must hunt where they are and this is the place. The record books don’t lie. To ensure success and minimize pressure, we allow a very limited number of hunters in each year.
